How to Install Raspbian OS On Raspberry Pi Without Desktop, Mouse & Keyboard?
This article for the people who don't have Desktop and want to install OS on Raspberry Pi.
Your Raspberry Pi doesn't come with the OS pre-installed. It is a headless board.How to get started with the headless board????
LETS GET ALL TOOLS REQUIRED TO INSTALL
1. A Windows Laptop
2. Raspberry Pi with 5V micro USB power supply with at least 2.0 A current.
3.16 GB Micro SDcard- class 10 or better.
4. Ethernet Cable
5.USB SDcard reader or you can use internal card reader.
DOWNLOAD RASPBIAN IMAGE
The first step is to download the Raspberry Pi’s operating system. I’ll be using
Download the zip file and extract in New Folder.You will find single .img file which
contains the operating system.

1. Insert a Micro SD card into SD card reader
2. Format the SD card using SD card formatter. Click here to Download

3. Use Balena Ecter. You can download Windows installer from balena.io
4. The tool will enumerate devices as shown.Select the SD you want to flash, then
provide the location of the extracted image.
ADD "SSH" FILE TO SD CARD ROOT
1. Go to Command Prompt
2. Create a ssh file without any extension.
4. Now Eject the SD card by click "Safe Remove Hardware.
5. Insert it into the Raspberry pi SD card.
Internet Sharing Through RJ-45 Cable
1. Connect the RJ-45 cable to your laptop and Raspberry Pi
2. Go to Network Sharing Setting
3. Click on Change Adapter Setting
4. Wireless connection connected to the laptop
5. Right click on the connection icon
6. Go to Properties
7. Check box and click on OK.
Dowload MobaXterm ON Your laptop
1. Download Moba Xterm for windows.To downlaod clickhere.
2. It has inbuilt ssh server
3. Click on ssh server.A window will be open. 4. In Remote Host text box "raspberrypi.mshome.net"
5. It will open ssh client of raspberry pi
6.Username of Raspberry Pi is "pi"
7. Password is "raspberry"
8. After get into it check the IP address by using the command "ifconfig"
9. Using the command "startx" you can have a desktop view of Raspberry Pi.
